SCG sees the challenge of enforcing the Carbon Tax as an opportunity to create new innovations for SCG cement to reduce carbon from the production process. It is the first low-carbon cement in Thailand.

Currently, low-carbon cement has received the TIS standard for hydraulic cement to replace Portland cement. And has developed cement to the 3rd generation (SCG LC3 Structural Cement) that reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 38% while maintaining strength and durability above the standard.

It can be used for both structural work, architecture and decoration perfectly.
Infrastructure such as bridges, dams
Commercial buildings such as offices, shopping malls
Residential buildings such as villages, apartments
Public structures such as schools, hospitals

Due to its popularity, production in Vietnam has been expanded to support exports abroad. In 2024, 1 million tons were exported to America

It also confirms its leadership in the low-carbon cement industry. At the global conference
